Scenic Hudson

The relationship between people and land has always been at the center of my passions and career: an undergraduate degree in agriculture, directing community engagement programs for Scenic Hudson, and now serving as it’s director of government relations and public policy, where I founded the policy committee for the Northeast Carbon Alliance, and have advanced state and federal policies to support soil health and carbon capture. Climate change threatens our environment and social existence as we know it, yet the adaptive strategies we have to respond to these threats also hold the promise of enhancing our collective understanding of nature, realizing how stewardship of land can help us lead our best lives, and promoting economic sustainability, societal justice and individual livelihoods.

I'm particularly interested in the organizational partnerships and public policies that enhance natural climate solutions literacy, support knowledge transfer, facilitate land access, and spark behavioral change across broad demographics.
