Impact Lead

Ashley aims to direct and deepen investments in living systems in service of climate mitigation, resilience, and adaptation. She is skilled at translating science into actionable guidance and shepherding vision and concepts through implementation. She is passionate about creating the conditions for creativity and collaboration to unleash our greatest imaginations as we take on the unprecedented challenges of our time. 

As an Impact Lead with VCI, Ashley leads the process of defining and evolving methods of evaluating impact. She also supports the funding of projects and programs that emerge from VCI retreats as strategic opportunities. She will work across a portfolio of funded initiatives to track impact and accelerate learning and innovation. 

Ashley has over 20 years of experience working on climate, health, and environmental impact with a large range of institutions, companies, and regional planning agencies. She has led the process of establishing clear ambitions for nature-based climate action across diverse portfolios of projects and programs. Prior to joining VCI, Ashley worked at Google as a Design Performance Executive focused on net positive and resilient land use development, charting and guiding progress on carbon, water, ecology, circularity, & public health goals.
