Ashley Swearengin

Central Valley Community Foundation

Ashley Swearengin has been involved in community and economic development in California's Central Valley for nearly 30 years in a variety of roles, including in the non-profit, academic, and local government sectors. She currently serves as the CEO of the Central Valley Community Foundation (CVCF), which serves as the backbone organization for the Fresno DRIVE Initiative, Farms-Food-Future (F3) Initiative, and the Sierra San Joaquin Jobs (S2J2) Initiative (the California Jobs First effort in Fresno, Madera, Tulare and Kings Counties). The S2J2 Initiative envisions more than $57b of investment in the region over 20 years to advance a sustainable, vibrant economy and recognizes the region's role in achieving California's climate goals. CVCF also promotes and supports local philanthropy in a six county region.
