At UMN Forever Green, I direct a commercialization, adoption, and scaling team of a regenerative agriculture innovation platform focused on new perennial and winter annual crops including some agroforestry systems. Last year, I Co-Founded a venture studio (Overstory) intended to build companies that take these new crops to market. One of our first ventures is Midwest Hazelnuts, LLC which is developing six stacked enterprises to enable a regional hazelnut industry.
