Elizabeth Wolff
Program Director, Environment, The J.M. Kaplan Fund
As Environment Program Director at the J.M. Kaplan Fund, Elizabeth oversees the development of the fund’s strategy for grantmaking around climate and conservation initiatives, with an emphasis on carbon mitigation, renewable energy transition, and the protection of critical ecosystems. In addition, she co-founded and leads the New York Area Sustainability Group, which brings together over a thousand diverse leaders in the sustainability space to collaborate and discuss new ideas in the space.
Her environmental strategy work spans over ten years, with former companies and organizations including Etsy, SunGard, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and Boston College. Elizabeth has a B.A. from Boston College in Philosophy and Environmental Studies, where today she is the co-chair of the university’s energy and environmental alumni organization.
