Hannah Breckbill

Hannah is in her 10th season farming with Humble Hands Harvest, and her 6th season on permanent land where she can plant trees. She views her organic vegetable and pastured livestock farming as a way to cash flow the slow work of perennializing her 22 acres. Humble Hands Harvest is a worker-owned cooperative and has publicly experimented with business structure and finances, "learning out loud" in order to unearth possibilities for resilient, just farming. Hannah also acts as a Land Access Navigator, supporting beginning farmers as they seek secure leases and purchase arrangements, and she is a founding organizer of the Queer Farmer Network and host of an annual Queer Farmer Convergence.
