Jon Gustafon

NRCS USDA

Jon has twenty-six years of experience with NRCS, all in California. His technical background is in conservation technology, rangeland ecology, and soils. As current State Resource Conservationist, his responsibilities include ensuring the technical adequacy of conservation planning staff in the field as well as all non-engineering conservation practices in the state. His staff is made up of the Agency's state level specialists in California such as the State Agronomist, State Biologist, State Staff Forester, State GIS Specialist and so on.
