Leslie Jones

USDA-NRE

Leslie has worked in conservation policy for more than two decades on issues ranging from wilderness, global fishing and ocean conservation, forest management, urban forestry and agriculture. She is currently on a detail from American Forests, where she is SVP for Policy, to the USDA, Natural Resources & Environment Mission Area as a conservation fellow. Accelerating reforestation, including agroforestry, is one of her areas of focus. She previously served seven years at USDA-NRE during the Obama Administration focused on NRCS and the Forest Service.
