My name is Marlon Weston, I am currently the Food Sovereignty Director for Thunder Valley CDC. I possess extensive experience in working for federal agencies like the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Indian Health Service. I have served in numerous roles that oversaw regenerative and sustainable energy projects on the Oglala Sioux Tribe Renewable Energy Development Authority and as an Oglala Sioux Tribe Utilities Commissioner. I also have experience in small business administration and development in environmental services enterprises. My regenerative agriculture experience in regenerative farming and ranching with local producers has created new models to be utilized within federal compliance for farm and range leases. I completed intensive training in regenerative agriculture in agroecology to measure all environmental impact through Integrity Soils CREATE Program and partnerships with like-minded organizations. I have also completed training as a South Dakota State Master Gardener and South Dakota State Master Naturalist.
