Omar de Kok-Mercado
Mad Ag
From nursing to soil science, my journey has always centered on health—whether that be of individuals or our soils. My transition into regenerative grazing and agroforestry reflects a commitment to produce nutrient-dense foods from landscapes that maintain clean water, abundant wildlife, and community well-being. Today, what motivates me is the profound capability of humans to drive transformational change. I am inspired by the belief that the vibrancy and diversity of the land can mirror the health and creativity of its stewards. This path has reinforced my conviction in the power of collaboration, especially concerning climate and education, to shape and scale a regenerative future.
