Pragyan is the Programme Officer, Forests and Grasslands with IUCN. He is an experienced system scientist and climate finance professional based in Washington DC whose expertise centres around designing and implementing projects in forest landscape restoration, combating land degradation, and family farming, with a focus on climate change adaptation & mitigation and biodiversity conservation. Pragyan holds a double Masters degree in Sustainable Tropical Forestry & Forest Management from Bangor University, UK and TU Dresden, Germany.
