From the tender age of 7, Sarah campaigned to save the whales and stop nuclear power, marching, writing, and organizing under her mother's tutelage. After exploring the world beyond Montana and Washington, she returned to dedicate her life to conservation work, litigating in private practice before joining the Western Environmental Law Center (WELC), transitioning to WildEarth Guardians for 9 years. 2.5 years ago, Sarah returned to WELC where she is the director of the Wildlands and Wildlife Program and a Senior Attorney.
